Coffee Drink Recipe - Great "Picker-Upper" Beverage!

Here's a great recipe for a cold coffee drink! It's a wonderful "picker-upper" beverage that I like to make... and consume... following one of my paddling adventures! BTW, this drink packs all the flavor you have come to expect from those other "fancy" gourmet coffee shop offerings... but without the exorbitant price tag! It only costs pennies to make and blends together in under 3 minutes! Enjoy!

Cold Coffee Drink

3/4 cup french vanilla creamer
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup hot cocoa mix (Nestle is my favorite!)
2 tbsp instant coffee
2 - 3 cups ice
Optional - Top with whipped topping, chocolate flakes, or other favorite toppings. Aside - I usually make this a "mandatory" step with my coffee drink!  ;-)

Throw all ingredients into a blender. Blend and serve immediately.

  2. This seems like an appropriate recipe for National Chocolate Day.

    1. I had no idea it was National Chocolate Day! I guess since I am a big chocolate lover, I think every day should "honor" chocolate! Chocolate and coffee are a great combo!

    1. Hey Bernie I encounter dead tree trunks, that are victims of wind and water erosion, during many of my paddling adventures. Some stranger than others? Thanks for your comments!
