Paddling at Lake Holt - A Tribute to Autumn

October 23, 2011 - Lake Holt, Butner, NC

Each autumn I plan a paddle adventure to Lake Holt to capture Fall's splendor in all it's majesty and colors! This year was no exception! On a mild, Sunday afternoon, I paddled the dead calm waters of Lake Holt and was able to witness nature's beauty! Here is Durhamblogger's tribute to autumn. Certainly, a picture is worth a thousand words? Enjoy!

  1. Thanks for sharing the fall colors which is something we don't see much of around here. I love the second shot in your series with the reflection of foliage in the water.

  2. Hi Rob Thanks for your comments and visiting Durhamblogger!

  3. Nice paddle spot! I love fall paddles too!

  4. Those pictures look especially pretty when viewed during a snow storm. : (

  5. Hey Molly! Sounds like you are falling victim to that huge Northeaster that is tearing up the east coast! A buddy of mine just reported that he has 6 inches of snow on the ground (PA) with a bunch of tree limbs and debris in his yard! Stay safe and warm!
